Kricket

Having had a pop up in the uber exciting Brixton Pop, the team moved earlier this year to their permanent site in Soho.  Fantastic modern Indian food with bold flavours - tandoori monkfish is a must try.  A small vibrant restaurant where you sit at the bar, with cool service, food that delights and a price point that makes you love London for loving food without breaking the bank. AND definitely a winner for vegetarians too.

Duddells

Having just opened in London Bridge, Duddells comes to London from its Michelin success in Hong Kong. The setting is an old church, where they really have got the atmospherics right (which could have been difficult) and an overly flirtatious service team. Peking Duck and quirky fish shaped dim sum is what you go for with a very high price tag to go with it.  Duddells will be part of the dim sum trend growth in London for 2017 and 2018……there are more coming!

XU

By the same amazing team as Bao, London. XU has opened serving the most equisite Taiwanese food. Mini spring onion pancake, foie gras terrine, red dates and shaoxing wine jelly and tomato and smoked eel.  The design is not only stunning but a clever use of a small space.  Service is superb. Palomar (another of our favourites!) is next door too – this street is getting more interesting
